MY STORY

From computer science to technology leadership.

I’m Eddie Chan, an enterprise technology executive with 20+ years across insurance, financial services, startups and higher education. As Group Head of IT at HKJEBN Group, I lead cloud, cybersecurity, business applications and GenAI.

Previously at FWD, I led and supported 150+ transformation programmes across 10+ Asian markets, including US$300M+ cloud transformation and US$100M AI initiatives. I’ve also supported around 300 AI models in customer and operational functions.

I began in computer science research and teaching at HKUST, hold a PhD from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and have built products as a startup co-founder. I connect enterprise strategy with hands-on delivery, resilient operations and measurable business results.
